Terms of Service
The terms on which you use the Entrixy app and website.
Revision of 4 August 2026.
These terms govern the use of the Entrixy app and the entrixy.com website. By installing the app or using the site you accept them. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
1. What Entrixy is
Entrixy is an access control tool. The app opens gates, barriers, doors, locks and intercoms: it sends a command to your hardware — by placing a call, by webhook or by signalling a controller — and lets you share access with guests. The opening itself is performed by your hardware; Entrixy only delivers the command to it.
2. Your hardware and access rights
You are responsible for having the lawful right to open the objects you add and to pass access to others. Do not use the service to reach someone else's property without the owner's permission. Making sure numbers, keys and settings are correct is your responsibility.
3. Account
A website account is not required for the app to work. If you create one, you undertake to give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for actions taken under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, interfere with its operation, circumvent its security mechanisms, or resell it or pass it off as your own without a separate agreement. Terms for hardware manufacturers are agreed separately.
5. Service availability
We aim for uninterrupted operation but do not guarantee it. The service is provided as is. There may be maintenance windows, updates and circumstances beyond our control. Plan important access scenarios on the assumption that the network or the server may be temporarily unavailable.
6. Limitation of liability
Entrixy is not liable for damage arising from an inability to open an object, from errors in settings, from guests' actions, or from a failure of hardware or of the network. You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for having backup ways into your own property.
7. Privacy
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. The core principle is privacy by default: sensitive access data is encrypted on your device and the server cannot read it.
8. Intellectual property
The app, the website, the names and the design belong to the Entrixy project. Any use beyond ordinary use of the service requires a separate agreement.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current revision is always available at entrixy.com/terms; the date is shown at the top. By continuing to use the service after a change you accept the new revision.
